The value of Q is greater than that of P.

What is density?

The density of a substance is the ratio of the mass of the substance and its volume.

This can be mathematically expressed as:

Density = mass/volume.

For 100g iron with a density of 7.8:

Volume = mass/density = 100/7.8 =12.82 cm3

The mass of objects is always directly proportional to volume.

If 100g of iron has a volume of 12.82 cm3, it means that 200g of iron will have a volume of:

           12.82 x 2 = 25.64 cm3

Density of 200g iron = 200/25.64 = 7.80 g/cm3 = P

This means the density of objects is irrespective of mass.

Thus, Q will also be 19.3 g/cm3.

In other words, the value of Q is greater than the value of P.
