Children possessing normal intelligence who have difficulties learning specific skills have a Learning disorder.

A child with a learning disorder may have difficulty in one or more areas of learning. Children  having average to above average intelligence can still possess learning disabilities. It is not a measure of their intelligence. Rather it means their brains function a bit differently.
