Education, in my opinion, lifts individuals out of poverty. A global education system helps people rediscover their own value and boosts their self-esteem and love of themselves. Education gives the least fortunate people a chance to fight for their rights before those who are most respected by society.

The best approach to fight poverty, according to Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), is via education. This is so that the wealthiest residents may fight inequality and improve their lives, which is the best method to reduce poverty. In order to help the most vulnerable people find their intrinsic worth and self-confidence, and the only way to accomplish that is via education, poverty must be eradicated.

What is the importance of quality education ?

  • Charles Hubbard Judd (1873–1966) was a psychologist and a former educationist under whose direction, the University of Chicago rose to prominence as a hub for the academic study of American schools and education.
  • He began to focus a lot of his works on the advancement of the science of education. He believed that education should transition from introspection to the scientific approach in the same way that psychology has. He argued that social life and its institutional arrangements are how education is carried out, and that the key to figuring out the best educational avenues is to conduct a scientific study of how institutions affect people.
  • Judd surrounded himself with individuals who had been his former students and had committed themselves to the study of education. Students who disseminated the scientific method to public schools, organisations that make educational policy, and other universities were drawn to the department. Judd proceeded to write several papers, books, and articles while also serving as editor of the Elementary School Journal and the School Review, which allowed him to spread his ideas further.
