To create a mount point, right-click on an unallocated section of a drive and choose New Simple Volume.

A simple volume is a section of a physical disk that behaves as if it were a separate entity physically. A simple volume can be made up of a single disk region or several linked regions on the same disk. Until you run out of disk space, you can store all of your data on a single basic volume. You can make an extended, spanned, or striped volume to get more room. However, you require more than one disk for anything other than a single volume.

Enter the amount of space you wish to provide this new partition on the Specify Volume Size page's Simple volume size in the MB field. (Be sure to include the amount of space in megabytes, such as 10240 MB.
