The difference between structured and unstructured data is that the structured data is highly organized and formatted while unstructured data is not.
Unstructured data do no have a predefined format which makes it much more difficult to collect, process, and analyze. It cannot be easily searched. Due to a lack of schema and organization, it is difficult to store and handle unstructured data.
Structured data is a standardized format for providing information about a page and categorizing the page content; for example, on a recipe page, what ingredients are used, cooking time and temperature, calories, and so on.
