In Psychology, memory can be defined as the ability of a living organism such as a human being to take in information through encoding, store it and then retrieve (recall) or remember this piece of information at a latter time in the future.

The types of memory.

Generally speaking, there are three (3) main types of memory in Psychology and these include the following:

  1. Short-term memory.
  2. Sensory memory
  3. Long-term memory.

What is memory construction?

Memory construction can be defined as a process through which living organisms such as humans, develop an ability to put together any missing pieces of information by using existing knowledge which typically makes recollections of past event more easier and clearer.

In conclusion, we can reasonably infer and logically deduce that Daniel and Nora recollections of their wedding as being somewhat hectic and unpleasant event best illustrate the nature of memory construction in living organisms such as humans.
