I was able to better understand history from the past and now by reflecting on my ideas, presumptions, and ideals in relation to historical and contemporary occurrences. I was aware that, until a celebrity uses their position to raise awareness of it, women's voices do not always seem to be heard. I provided the gender wage gap as an excellent illustration.
Although a legislation was passed in the 1960s and women had been battling for equality for years, it took a famous person to shine a light on the issue and convince everyone that it was unfair and improper. I gained awareness of myself and learned to trust the process during this. Someone has a tale to tell, and history has provided me with examples of how to use the knowledge I am dispensing. Making decisions in life can be challenging, but having the correct tools and knowledge of the past can assist.
