There is another transformation we will not study but youwill see in Geometry, rotations. Thinking about the shape ofa graph like we saw today with absolute values, what wouldbe the problem of "rotating an absolute value function 90degrees"? We studied this topic last semester

Respuesta :

The absolute function is express as : y = |x|

The equation of y = |x| is y = x when x is positive and y = -x when x is negative.

After 90ยฐ clockwise rotation the equation will be x = |y|.

because in 90 degree transformation the coordinates are transform to( x,y) โ†’(y, -x)

The graph will be:

Consider any coordinate let A(-2,1)

then after the rotation of 90 degree clockwise it will become (-2,1) โ†’(1, -(-2))= (1,2)

Answer: in 90 degree transformation the coordinates are transform to( x,y) โ†’(y, -x)
