a girl moves at 2m/s delivering newspapers. she throws a newspaper directly behind her at 2m/s. in the frame of reference of someone standing nearby what is the motion of the newspaper.

Respuesta :

If she just dropped them, they'd go down in a parabola to the floor, with a horizontal speed of 2m/s. In throwing them backwards at 2m/s hasn't she effectively "nullified" their horizontal release speed, and wouldn't they just plop on the floor vertically below the place where they were dropped ?
