Canadians would be better protected if they treated youth positively differentially because this would bring about a positive outcome for society.

How does differential treatment affect youth and Canadian society?

Differential treatment is a term that refers to the way in which a group or individual relates to another individual. In general, differentiated treatment can be negative or positive depending on the situation in which it occurs.

In accordance with the above, if the differentiated treatment of the government and society towards young Canadians is positive, they could offer them opportunities for human development through education, work, growth opportunities, among others. This would have a positive impact on society in the future because it would allow young people to have the necessary tools and knowledge to give back to their society and make it grow.

On the other hand, if the differential treatment is negative, surely young people would be subject to prejudice and isolation, this would bring negative effects in the future such as school dropout, crime, drug addiction, among others. These problems would become social problems because the government would have to employ more officials to help these young people and prevent them from becoming a problem for other citizens. Therefore, the result of the differential treatment depends on the approach that is given to it.
