What is nervous system?

Peripheral nerves system:
- Parts of the nervous system that are not located in the brain and spinal cord are referred to as the peripheral nervous system.
- The peripheral nerves, neuromuscular connections, spinal nerves, their roots, and branches are all included.
- Although the anterior horn cells are officially a component of the central nervous system (CNS), because they are a part of the motor unit, they are occasionally addressed with the peripheral nervous system.
- Axons, or bundles of nerve fibers, carry information to and from the central nervous system through the peripheral nervous system.
- The portion of the nervous system responsible for innervating involuntary bodily parts like the heart, smooth muscles, and glands is known as the autonomic nervous system.
- The nerves and ganglia make up the peripheral nervous system's organs. Similar to how muscles are made up of bundles of muscle fibers, so are nerves.
- Peripheral organs like muscles and glands are connected to the CNS by spinal and cranial nerves.
Therefore, it is peripheral nervous system.
