An example of macroevolution would be tetrapods. Tetrapods are animals with limbs. The study of fossils, geological and modern organisms are how evidence of macroevolution is obtained.
So, organisms that have changed over time, and new species have appeared and other species have gone extinct is a description of macroevolution.
