The major powers of Europe reacted strongly and vigorously to the Latin American countries independence from Spanish and Portugal.
The French Revolution is considered the main intriguing event that eventually led to the independence of the lain American countries from Europe. In 1789, this revolutionary wave had a profound impact on the Spanish, British, Portuguese and French colonies established in Latin America.
However, all the Latin American colonists and nationalists were fed up of the British rules and regulation as they were treating these colonists badly by depriving them of their rights and using them to generate money and wealth.
