One is definitely poverty because not having a job in your youth can lead to being poor later due to lack of opportunity to prove yourself. Another is lower self-esteem. In the long run, this can become an epidemic which may result in things like depression or higher suicide rates. Another can be social exclusion. If someone is not perceived by the society as a successful person, there's a chance that the society might discard him/her.

The youth employment may be affected due to factors like,

  1. Mobile addiction
  2. Excessive social media usage
  3. Decentralized focus on studies.

The three factors above can lead to a significant increase in unemployment in the world which will sooner or later result in downfall in the economies of the world.

Causes of unemployment

  • In today's world students are encouraged to study on their mobile phones but instead they use the mobile phones for entertainment purposes for long hours and thus become addicted to the mobile phone usage.

  • Social media usage has rapidly increased after the introduction of different social media sites. which has resulted in less concentration towards career growth making the youth blank minded.

  • There is a significant decentralization in the focus of studies due to various factors including the two factors mentioned above. In fact this stressors is a by-product of the aforementioned factors.

  • Due to less concentration on studies, skills of the youth are not developed which will create only opportunities but not the growth in employment due to unskilled youth.

Hence, the stressors like mobile addiction, social media usage and less focus on studies a significant increase in the unemployment may be experienced globally.
