The bone placement, position, and the movement of the bone structures are all different from each other. Also the composition of the structure is different for example the insect's wings are made up of exoskeleton, the bird has feathers, the bat and Jurassic flying reptile have skin.

Fins of a fish are made up of cartilage and bones and the flippers of a whale are made up of fibrous connective tissue.
