Andrea's car get 25 miles per gallon of gas. The cabin is 190 miles away. How many gallons of gas will she need to get there?

190 miles / 25 miles
=7.6 gallons

Ok so its the same thing with using proportions. 25/1 twenty-five per mile 190/x miles needed and unkown amount Cross multiply 25 times x and 190 times 1. 25x= 190. Divide by 25 on each side. X= 7.6
