What expression could describe the number of squares in the next figure in the pattern. figure 1.. is 2 square figure 2.. is 5 square figure 3 is 8 square. What is figure 4?

The pattern in that you add 3 each time. 2+3=5, 5+3=8, 8+3=11
Figure 4 would be 11
