In addition to wind and lightning, thunderstorms can bring heavy rains that trigger flash floods and mudslides. Frequently they will generate hail that can be destructive to crops, or to windows, cars, and people if it reaches a large size.
The greatest hazard are strong winds, and possibly tornadoes, that can come from severe thunderstorms. Lightning is a constant danger, but very few lightning strikes cause damage or injury. It is more of a threat where it can cause wildfires. (Hope is helpful)
