If I take something out of a website and put it in my essay do I put the website in parenthesis or does it have to be authors name with other things? And after the essay is done and I cite all the websites do I use authors name or just the website URL?

If you cite any text from anything you have to put the source of where you got it from. It you're done with the essay, you can put the website's link at the bottom right corner or while citing the text and using it for your essay, you can put the author of the text.
