There are lots of similarities between the population showing logistic growth and exponential growth bases on the graph we can say so because when you consider the exponential growth it grows with respect to time and more vertical the line more will be the growth of the population and when the logistic growth is taken into account it also grows with respect to time but this growth stops because of limited resources.
The exponential growth starts at a steady rate and then speeds up but the logistic growth starts very fast with consumption of resources and once the resources are over the growth sops.
The difference between a population showing exponential growth and a population showing logistic growth is that:
- Exponential growth has to do with the growth of a population, while logistic growth has to do with resources
A population is the sum total of the organisms in an ecosystem or habitat.
Population growth has to do with the rate at which the population of a place changes, with respect to time.
As a result of this, we can see that population that shows exponential growth moves along a vertical line and is related to the growth of that population.
On the other hand, a logistic growth has to do with available resources that a person can use to advance the growth of the population which are limited.
