That picture is a little confusing, if you were trying to solve:
(c^2)^(1/2)=4608^(1/2) (basically it look as if you were trying to simplify the right side...
find the prime factorization of 4608 and see how many perfect squares there are...
4608=2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*3*3=256*9*2 so
c=(16^2*3^2*2)^(1/2)
c=4(3)(2^(1/2))
c=12(2^(1/2))
