I would say the answer to this problem would most likely be D because studying the anatomy basically the bone structure would show how similar two creature are or if they mated in anyway shape or form. Also studying the bone structure would reveal all the characteristic they have in common like height tooth size/rigidness, also height, weight and many other important factors.
The research that will provide the best evidence of the evolutionary relationship between two hominid species is the studies in comparative anatomy of different hominids.
Evidence of evolution
Evidence of evolution can be used to show changes that occurred over time for a specific type of creature.
The evidence of an evolutionary change can be gotten through:
- fossil record,
- embryology,
- comparative anatomy, and
- molecular biology.
The comparative anatomy of the different hominids would help provide an evidence of an existing evolutionary relationship between the two hominid species.
This is because, comparative anatomy studies the homologies, or inherited similarities, among organisms in bone structure and in other parts of the body.
Therefore, the research that will provide the best evidence of the evolutionary relationship between two hominid species is the studies in comparative anatomy of different hominids.
