M=153.46w, L=128.90+127.68w  they will be equal when M=L so

153.46w=128.90+127.68w  subtract 127.68 from both sides...

25.78w=128.90  divide both sides by 25.78

w=5

So after five weeks they have deposited the same amount of money.

Each of them has deposited $153.46*5=$767.30, so the account has twice that amount.

Thus the total amount in the account is 767.30*2=$1534.60
