Under the Constitution, members of the United States Senate may serve an unlimited number of six-year terms and members of the House of Representatives may serve an unlimited number of two-year terms.
If you're a member of the house of representatives, your term lasts for two years. That is a full term that lasts that long if the representative doesn't get impeached or removed from the house through a vote that requires a large majority. Delegates also have two year terms while the commissioner has a 4 year term.
