The answer to this question would be: dorsiflexion, plantarflexion, inversion, eversion, abduction and adduction

The ankle joint is made up of a few joints that allow many kinds of movement. But the most important movement is dorsiflexion and plantarflexion which was used when you are walking. eversion, inversion, adduction and abduction is useful to keep balance.
In human body, a joint is defined as a location where two or more bones meet and connect. The range of motion of joints refers to the measurement of the maximum distance and direction a particular joint can move. Most joints are connected in such a way that they allow movements in specific directions only.
The quantity of movement through a normal range for each joint is measured in degrees using an instrument called goniometer. Scientists had established standard range of motion values for most joints.
For ankle joint, downward movement of the joint, which is called plantar flexion ranges from zero to 50 degrees while the movement upward, which is called dorsiflexion ranges from zero to 20 degrees.
