It meant that you could hire an African American but they had to use different things. Most employment businesses had a white only bathroom or a white only hallway or a white only parking. It meant that yes they still had the same rights but white people deserved it more when really everyone is equal and there isn't multiple races we are all the same race and no matter what you believe religiously we were all created equally and the same.
