Can someone please help me with this question

Solve this by putting x and y on the same side of the equals sign and the constant on the other side. The first equation then would look like this, x first: [tex] \frac{3}{4}x-1y=6 [/tex]. That is also the same thing as [tex] -\frac{3}{4}x+1y=-6 [/tex]. The second equation would be [tex] -8x-1y=-2 [/tex]. That is also the same thing as [tex] 8x+1y=2 [/tex]. That means that the combination that is correct is -3/4 1 -6 and 8 1 2. That is found in the second choice down.
