(I do hope that you're talking about the drawing etc. artists) Well, as an artist myself, I find music really helpful. I think some lyrics or some parts of music lets us imagine something inspiring, therefore helping with art. For example, some part of a music piece may remind someone of clocks or the ocean etc., and the artist might base the image off of that image they see in their head! :D
