In a bag there are red and blue balls in the ratio of 2:7. If there are 14 red balls, find the number of blue balls in the bag. Use a tape diagram to solve the problem.

2/7 = x/14

to get from 7 to 14 you multiply by 2


since you have to multiply both the numerator and denomenator by 2, 2/7=4/14



so you have 4 blue balls/14 red balls
