The temperance movement was meant to enact alcohol laws and regulate the sale of alcohol beverages.
The purpose of the Emancipation Proclamation was to cease slavery in the south freeing millions of slaves. It affected the outcome of the war because even though the Emancipation had little affect than it was meant to it still set the tone for the norths victory and slaves legal freedom.
The suffrage movement was how it sounds the "suffering" that woman during the 19th and 20th century endured for equality rights such as voting, jobs, and freedom of speech.....
