A rectangular room is 6 yards long an 12 feet wide.  Find the perimeter in feet.  Then find the perimeter in yards.

i believe for the perimeter for ft. it is 60 and for yards it is 20 not sure if right though :)

1 yard = 3 feet

thus, (6)(3)(2) + (2)(12) = 60 feet.

Thus the perimeter in feet would be 60 feet.

as 1 yard = 3 feet,

the perimeter in yard would be 60/3 = 20 yards
