A persuasive argument can be made using a photograph in a very similar way to how an argument can be made using language. When taking a photograph, the photographer can decide how he wants it taken. Therefore, he can shoot it in a way that allows the viewer to see what the photographer wants him to see. This allows him to use images that appeal to a viewer's emotions and logic or that makes him look credible and trustworthy.
