The people who lived near and inspired the writer Charlotte Brontë were all unique and intriguing. I get this idea from the passage "peculiar forms of population and society" in describing the people she was brought up amongst. Also, the importance of these people in her upbringing is emphasized in the comment that "it appears to me to be more necessary in her case than in others" to describe these people.
C) To understand Charlotte Brontë, one needs to understand the society in which she grew up.
That is the correct answer
I am for sure about it :)
