Start off with exponents
What are you trying to do? Solve for x? If so, normally you'd combine like terms. So, if you had [tex]3x^2+4x^2+5x^3[/tex] you could combine [tex]3x^2 [/tex] & [tex]4x^2[/tex] only because they have the same exponent. You'd get [tex]7x^2[/tex], plus the [tex]5x^3[/tex]. The end equation would be [tex]5x^3+7x^2[/tex]. In your equation, you have no like exponents. Your equation is as simple as it can get.
