Plants produce all of the molecules they need for survival from inorganic compounds. Some elements, like nitrogen, come from the soil. Where do the elements required for photosynthesis come from?

carbon dioxide comes from atmospheric air and sun light comes from space

Photosynthesis comes from the sun. I found a plant one time that had been in a closed box for a year.It was snow white - like an albino. It took about a week for it to turn green.
