Hypothesis
The scientific method is as follows:
1. Observation
2. Problem
3. Hypothesis
4. Experiment
5. Theory
6. Law
Before any solid conclusion is drawn, observations are made on the basis of which a problem is identified. A hypothetical answer to the problem is created, which is called the hypothesis. This hypothesis is then tested using an experiment and the results of the experiment either support or contradict the hypothesis. The hypothesis is repeatedly tested until it can become a more concrete explanation.
