IMViC is very important in identifying Enterobacteriaceae especially when it is with urease. They incorporate Voges-Proskauer test, citrate production test, indole production test and methyl red test where it enables to identify the gram negative Enterobacteriaceae. It is not necessary to further do tests. However, you can do tests like urease, ONPG and oxidase.
