Describe the nightlife in a city you are familiar with

People laughing as they walk next to the calm water. Laughing, as if they have never been with friends. Every bar open on every block as you can hear joyous conversations. Also the quiet, dark houses that you walk past flicker on a light almost as to say goodnight.

Nightlife in the city of Enugu

Enugu is one of the small states in the South Eastern part of Nigeria and it is also my city, a beautiful one at that.

During the night, there is a buzz of activities as the "mallams" who specialize in selling "suya" (roasted meat) would come out and prepare for business. You can hear the sounds of music renting the air as clubs and food joints are getting ready for business.

You have to be careful though, especially if you are not moving in a large group of being jumped in dangerous areas or having your things stolen from you if you get too drunk.

However, Enugu is a generally peaceful place during the nighttime and a fun place if you choose to.
