Oliver is the best friend of Tommy. Tommy was in dire need of money so he asked Oliver, manager of Starling Bank, to lend him money. Oliver knew that Tommy has no work and his father had cut him off of his trust fund so it would be impossible for him to pay the amount he will be borrowing. Oliver was hesitant to grant the request of Tommy. This was an ethical challenge on his part since he knew the consequences if he would grant Tommy's request. He needs to decide well and weigh the possible effects of his actions.

A fictional scenario would be a Loan Officer waiving some of the requirements for accessing a loan for their blood relative. This of course is not ethical.
