A Prime Minister differs from a President in which of the following ways? Select all that apply.

A)A Prime Minister holds power as long as Parliament approves.
B)A President is elected by the general public, and a Prime Minister is the leader of the majority party in the House of Commons.
C)A Prime Minister holds office for six years, or until his party holds a vote of "no confidence."
D)A President is elected every four years, whereas Parliamentary elections are held every five years.
E)A Prime Minister can be ousted by a vote of "no confidence" by her/his party's parliamentary ministers.

Respuesta :

I would say B) and D) apply to some of the differences between a Prime Minister and a President and also A). In addition, a Prime Minister is head of the government but may not be head of the state which may be a President in the same country or perhaps a Governor General.
