Do not use drugs: Drug use is largely responsible for the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. This is because many people share syringes, needles and other objects that favor contamination. In addition to the risk of transmission due to the use of objects with biological material, drug use favors STD contamination because it can lead to risky behavior such as unprotected sex. Thus, STDs can be avoided by not using drugs and not sharing sharps.
