Because they had no agriculture, they had to follow herds of game and could never settle in one location. Their homes were often either lightweight enough to carry with them, or were made in such a way that they were easy to build and easy to tear down. Often men would be the hunters and women would be the gatherers. Everyone in the society would have to be knowlegable about local berries, roots, and any other ediable resourses. They also needed to have tracking skills and knowledge of herd migration patterns.
