Question 1:

The answer is A: Sam.

His table is the only one that follows the conditions set in the question.

Question 2:

Choosing two points; (0, 14) and (4, 10)

Slope (m) = [tex] \frac{10 - 14}{4 - 0} = \frac{-4}{4}[/tex] = -1

Thus, equation,

[tex]y - y_{1} = m(x - x_{1}) [/tex]

[tex]y - 10 = -1(x - 4)[/tex]

[tex]y = -x + 14[/tex]

I'm getting that for my equation of the line, so my best guess is that the answer is C.

The reason I got my answer is probably because I made a calculation mistake somewhere. If you use my methods, you should arrive at the correct answer.

The answer is C. ( I believe )
