While riding her bike to the ocean and back home 6 times, corinne timed herself at 58 min, 61 min, 55 min, 59 min, 56 min, and 58 min. she had set a goal of averaging 56 minutes for her rides. how many minutes will she need to spend on her seventh ride to attain her goal?

First, we need to find the mean (average) of her 6 bike rides. To do this, we need to add up all the rides and divide that number by the amount of rides (6). 

[tex]58+61+55+59+56+58=347/6=57.8333[/tex].

Answer: She will need to ride about 58 minutes (57.83̅  to be exact)
