The experimental method is usually taken to be the most scientific of all methods, the 'method of choice'. The main problem with all the non-experimental methods is lack of control over the situation. The experiment method is a means of trying to overcome this problem. The experiment is sometimes described as the cornerstone of psychology: This is partly due to the central role experiments play in many of the physical sciences and also to psychology's historical view of itself s a science. A considerable amount of psychological research uses the experimental method.
Answer: Hello!
Where are most experiments done?
The answer is a laboratory.
The benefits of this choice are that the laboratory is a controlled environment, where all the variables are controlled (a clean place, the temperature is controlled, the pressure is controlled, etc) and this allows us to have a better description of the phenomena that you are observing. Also having a controlled experiment allows doing the same experiment anywhere in the world, in order to see the repetitively of the experiment when is done in other laboratory and by other scientists.
