Now use your T-chart to write a three- to four-paragraph essay on how the United States changed between 1776 and 1870. Remember the following as you write your essay: Have a thesis statement to organize your essay around. Back up your arguments about changes in the United States with historical evidence. If you use sources other than your text, list them at the end of your essay.
The only thing I can say is for a thesis statement it at least needs to be 3-4 sentences long to kind of get into what your going to be talking about. Then maybe for the body you can write at least 13-20 sentences and back up some of the info wit facts and true statements.
