If we use wood and clay brick to build the roof of the house the temperature inside the house will remain cooler. As we know wood and clay are non conductor of heat so they not transfer sun's heat inside the room and room remains cooler. On the other hand aluminium, copper and nickel are metals and are good conductor of heat as well they transfer environment's heat inside the room.
