The environmental factors should be considered first and foremost. While the potential job prospects would be beneficial but their benefits are not as important as the other factor With the environmental dangers you have to consider the long term and short term effects it will have. If the representative from the company is to be believed the new drill site will help decrease pollution across the area and create a safer environment for the current generation and future generations. If the drill site is indeed dangerous, everyone in the town is at risk off being hurt by hazardous materials. The safety of the citizens is more important than creating jobs.
