Post 1763 the policies made by the British were not liked by
the colonists because there was nothing in favour of the colonists. The
colonists could see only the disadvantages of being a part of the British Empire.
The British used to take the raw materials from the colonies and then sell the
manufactured product in the colonies at a higher rate. They also levied huge
tax for the products. The industrial revolution did not bear any fruit for
them. The exploitation of the colonists kept rising with each passing day.
