In this case you would be using a "straight ticket", since you automatically are choosing all of the candidates within a certain political party, instead of voting for individual candidates from different parties.

The straight ticket voting method, also called straight-party voting, means that you can simply check democrat, republican, etc.. and you will vote for all of your party's candidates for office without having to go through and select each person individually. A total of nine states offer this voting method.
